There is plenty to see and do in Leeds and the surrounding area. The city offers superb shopping and many historic buildings have been converted into beautiful ornate shopping malls, such as the Victoria Quarter or the Corn Exchange, which offer a choice of unique high-fashion boutiques. As you would expect, Leeds also offers the usual range of well-known high street shops and familiar department stores. Armley Mills Leeds Industrial Museum was once the world's largest woollen mill. Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Harewood House are also just a short drive from Leeds and are both well worth a visit. Situated midway between Edinburgh and London, Leeds offers easy access to several major routes across the country, the M1/A1 for travelling north and the M62 for travelling east and west. In addition, the Queens Hotel is only 12 miles from Leeds Bradford International Airport, which offers flights all around the UK and daily European flights.
